The two upper levels of Colibrì House comprise the beautiful and open Suite apartment. With astonishing views and secluded sleeping loft the Suite makes the ideal romantic getaway. Small families or good friends will also find the special touches and numerous amenities add to their Caribbean Vacation.

Occupying the first floor, the Studio offers comfort and convenience for single travelers, couples, and families alike. This bright, fully furnished apartment accommodates 2-3 people and is steps from the Caribbean beach.

Colibrì House is in an ideal location. It is close enough to walk to the numerous shops, restaurants, and bars but on the edge of the village allowing for quiet, private relaxation.  One great way to see the village is by bicycle. Bike rentals are available from Colibrì House, just ask.

The gardens surrounding Colibrì House are well maintained with tropical plants common to the area. Native plants attract native wildlife, and you will likely see some of the amazing butterflies and birds of southern Belize.  Our gardens contain Coconut Palm, Mango, Cashew Fruit, Almond Trees, Hibiscus, Orchids, and many others.  Tip: The Mangos start getting ripe in late June.

Both units are equipped with decks, hammocks, televisions, games, books, refrigerator, common appliances and fans to keep you cool.  In addition, we are happy to provide linens and towels.  For your privacy and because this is a rental house and not a hotel, we do not provide any daily maid service.  For those who prefer occasional maid service, just ask and we can accommodate you for a reasonable fee.

The owners, Stefano Ragagnin and Nicoletta Sala, are from Milan, Italy. They designed Colibrì House based on their experiences as travelers and their unique Mediterranean perspective.
